I watched Shaun of the Dead last night then dreamt of zombies all night.... How dissapointingly predictable.

what type of food are you?
You Are Japanese Food |
Strange yet delicious. Contrary to popular belief, you're not always eaten raw. |

The tour so far....
The tour is going amazingly well.... So much fun! We're back on the big pink bus (very girly) and the shows have been brill.... The first three were as a 5 peice and they went so well that we asked Deco back for the rest of them. It's loud but it does the music such justice.
I think the highlight was being in Liverpool yesterday. I've only been in the city before this for a half hour (during the dreaded U2 fiasco) so it was nice to have a proper visit.
I'll write more soon I promise. We're in Bristol at the moment and the soundcheck is a-waitin!!
P.s. this photo is for dad. I wouldn't let him take any photos in HMV when he was over!!

Electric Picnic
some more photos....
What a great day! And a brilliant gig!
Now please examine this next photo carefully.... On the left you will find myself and Fergal rocking out BIG STYLE... (i think that's when I jumped up on the drum kit) In the middle you will see Mark on his knees in a moment of rock feuled passion.... and in just behind him (looking vaguely sinister, hovering over our moniter engineer) is NICK CAVE!! The aussie Prince of Darkness himself. Watching us!! WOW. (there is also some sort of super-energy-field apparition haunting the stage...ha ha)

So we're still hanging in but people are sneaking up behind us. Essentially we have two and a half days to hold on in the Top 40 before the charts come out so if anyone wants to buy the single that'd be GREAT!!
I think you can download it at
www.jj72.com
or order it on
www.hmv.co.uk
or
www.amazon.co.uk
I'm such a sales person aren't I?

Totally Sweden!
Remember when I did the photo shoot in Bray with Lili for Totally Dublin? The article (writen by Una) was syndicated by totally sweden (i'm not a translator but I can only assume that's what it's called!!) and they put me on the cover!!
The photos are great. Lili is such a fantastic shooter. (that's what they call them in the business!)
P.S. Thanks to Corina for her syling extrodinaire...
Iron Maiden
A night of true Spinal Tappery... It was great. A bit chilly, but great... Unfortunatly I'm too old to go near the stage these days. There was NO WAY that I was attempting to push my way up to the front, expecially as I was sober!! Now that's a pickle. Sober at an Iron Maiden gig. That's brave! So here are my photos. I love the one of Mark with the sheer ROCK firing like lightning into his very being. It was like that, really!
The hightlights were definately Number of the Beast, which was complete with a blow up devil, and Run to the Hills. Honorable mentions go to Hallowed Be Thy Name and of course Phantom Of the Opera. Bruce Dickinson, despite his Commercial Pilot job and his cringeworthy comedic efforts, still knows how to belt em out.
(we missed Marylin Manson- poo)
