It was a fun night.... until the punches in the neck began...

camping....

I'd forgotten how much fun camping is. A gang of us went to Cork to visit Emma Saul in her cookery course in Ballmaloe. (to be fed like kings obviously....) and decided to make a proper trip of it. We managed to find the SMELLIEST beach in Ireland, but got used to it quickly and had the best time.... there were couches built, 'stuff' cooked, bucketloads of wine drunk and some of us ended up with far too much cake in the face. Poor Adrian got the worst sunburn i've ever seen (two weeks on and he's only suffering more and more every day!!) (possibly he deserved it though for being the loudest of all loud campers....)

Poor neglected blog....

sorry folks, it's been a busy couple of months with the band calling it a day and apartment hunting (I've decided it's time to move back out to the seaside!!)
I suppose there's a lot to catch up on!
I'm starting to play music with my lovely friend fin... I've bought a new pickup designed specifically for pedal harps, and I'm going to plug her in to every noise I can get my paws on, then Fin will provide the beats with his ferocious drumming... We're in the stages of fighting over names, the two contenders being

five minutes
OR
angel she's a killer

I'm also back in black, playing with an amazing band LLuther. It's heavy and beautiful, just how I like it. We're doing the M'era Luna Festival in Germany later on in the summer playing with Bauhaus, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Frontline Assembly, the Birthday Massacre (a lot of the bands Dad had to endure me listening to at obscene volumes.....)
I can't WAIT!! (plus it's in Germany.... Bring on the Goth....)
