The Clare Glens

Paddy and I are just back from Tiperary and Limerick where we paddled the Clare Glens, arguably the prettiest and most fun river in Ireland. It's a series of rapids and 'pool drop' waterfalls which vary in size but all seem big from the top. Here's me at the lip of the one called the Big Eas (pronounced, appropriately BIG ASS!!) which is a 15 foot drop. Fun Stuff!

blog hiatus is finally over.

Wow, i've been a slacker lately. Only on this blog though.... I've been busy over on my Angel She's A Killer website...
So what is new?? Loads and Loads! But where to start... At the beginning I guess. My trip to Canada with Paddy and the boats. It was brilliant. The weather was great, hanging out with Dad and Jesse and Grandma was excellent and the kayaking was epic. EPIC.
Plus we got some A&W.



I wish we had photos of the Ottawa river, it was such a brilliant place to kayak. The part of the 600 mile river that we went to was pretty remote, and the man who owns most of the land up there intends to keep it that way. I've never seen anything like it in my life. There was, to put it simply, so much water. The rapids were massive and the waves were mammoth: our 4 days spent there were far too short.
