Mike!!

I'm so excited because my favorite friend from Brampton is coming to visit on monday. I've been feeling a little homesick lately and I think this is just what I need to cheer me up!! Mike is the friend that I've known the longest out of all my friends (well longer than anyone else I keep in touch with) and we still have such a great relationship despite the 7000 or so kilometers between us. We can go months without talking and years without seeing eachother but we still have such a laugh and brilliant chats when we finally meet. And he loves the ROCK!!! yay.

I never really thought of it before, but I can use this blog instead of my Dairy or instead of the emails that I rarely (by rarely I mean never) get around to sending to my family. (Sorry guys.)
Well it's the end of July and it's freezing cold and raining cats and dogs in Dublin. So much for the summer. I think we had one warm(ish) day but of course I was stuck in lovely work!!
jj72 are on a break from touring at the moment so I'm slipping easily but somewhat reluctantly back into the swing of things. It's difficult coming home from being on tour. The fun and excitement, not to mention the travelling, are addictive and being back in the restaurant is somewhat of a letdown. I'm lucky though that I have a lot of friends here and also that there is another tour coming up....
I've fully unpacked in my new apt only one short month after moving in! This is a personal record!! When I moved I still had thing in boxes from my last move that I'd never unpacked. Yes, I admit I'm a packrat. I just love stuff!!
My new flat is great. It's right in the city center and is spacious and clean. The exact oppostie of my last home! I'll post some photos soon.
But now, back to work!
