the paddy's day photo's emerge....

a cameraphone-photo montage progression of my night and subsequent day...
enjoy the ride...

the humble beginnings

the first element of danger... quite safe and pleasant on their own, they pose little threat unless coupled with....

EEP!

It all went a pit pear shaped from there but was great great fun in all. We were moshing at one point to 'mirror in the bathroom' in a gaggle of sweaty bikers. Danger Bay.
There were new coats, bodhran solo's and long walks home that leave tiny questions in our minds, but hey, it was Paddy's day!!
the next day hurt a bit and we added insult to injury by braving the amusements...
note to self: the Waltzer is NEVER a good idea on March 18th.

this IS a fast moving and boisterous ride!!

more phone photies

I love the quality of my phone photo's. Happy, blurry goodness.

SNOW!! FEB 28th!!

This is outside my gym after the riot, it is quite a distance from the actual scene of the riot and there is still a tiny mountain of smashed glass. (and this sad little brelly)

Ireland V. Sweden

Una and I went to the match in Lansdown Rd. last night. We stood in the North Terrace, wrapped up in every bit of clothing we could find, full of hot whiskey, and bursting with glee. (seriously that's the perfect word to describe the excitement!) It was my first proper footie match, I've been to GAA matches but never a soccer one. How FUN!! I swear to god when Duff scored the first goal, right under our noses, I felt like crying. It's so easy to get caught up when you're right there and it's right there and you're screaming your lungs out and Ireland is kicking serious Swedish ass. such fun.

blurry phone shot. (i brought my camera but the battery was dead...)

my sorry attempt at panorama. (i clearly didn't quite grasp the concept...)

leaving Lansdown Rd. It looked pretty cool. (although we did get so lost.)
